Restaurant Manager / Floor Leader

Summary
A Sushi restaurant in Oakland Area, CA is seeking a professional with leadership or management experience in the food and beverage industry. Whether you have experience as a General Manager, Assistant Manager, or a Floor Leader/Shift Supervisor, we are looking for a motivated individual ready to take the next step in their career. Essential Duties

• Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate floor staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality service.
• Operational Oversight: Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain a professional environment.
• Guest Experience: Act as the face of the restaurant, ensuring every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team and Sushi chefs to maintain service flow and food quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a restaurant setting (e.g., Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Floor Leader, or Shift Lead) is required
• A genuine interest in Japanese food, culture, and hospitality (Omotenashi) is essential.
• Ability to start working by January 20th.
• Previous experience working in a Sushi restaurant is highly welcomed.
• Excellent communication, a "hands-on" leadership style, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
