Position
Human Resources Specialists

Summary
 This is a leadership role that requires an in-depth understanding of federal, state, local and company policies, payroll, and the hospitality/restaurant industry. This role also delves into training staff.

Essential Duties
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
・Develop, update, maintain and enforce the company’s Employee Handbook in compliance with federal, state and local laws
・Participate in webinars, continuously share new information with managers 
・Work in close liaison with managers to resolve a variety of staffing issues
・Build rapport and collaborate with external Legal and CPA as well as internal management staff to keep company on track with compliance and business goals
・Oversee employee evaluations and create fair wage standards for bonus allocation, budget, promotions and demotions across multiple locations
・Assess benefit plans for optimal coverage, changes and renewals
・Onboard newly hired employees to ensure valid employment documentation, company policy and protocol overview, and benefits enrollment
・Arrange and host annual Non-Harassment Training
・Process weekly payroll across multiple locations
・Coordinate with the team to complete duties and projects ad hoc

Working Hours, Working Style

100% at office

Salary/Benefit
​​​​​​​ $50,000-$70,000 annual
Health insurance, dental and vision, and commuter benefits after 90 days of employment.
PTO varies depending on employment length and status.

Qualifications
​​​​​​​At least 3 years of previous HR/Payroll experience is preferred. A College Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field is also preferred. Japanese and/or Spanish-speaking knowledge is a plus
