Position
Logistics / Shipping Coordinator

Summary
The Logistics / Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery. This role serves as a key point of contact between warehouses, carriers, vendors, and internal departments, managing shipping documentation, monitoring shipment status, resolving logistics issues, and supporting customer service and accounting functions to ensure smooth end-to-end logistics operations.

Essential Duties

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Create shipping orders, obtain freight quotes, and arrange transportation with carriers
• Communicate with warehouses, production teams, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation including BOLs, packing lists, invoices, COA, and shipping notices
• Maintain and follow shipping SOPs and checklists
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to customers
• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with internal departments (Sales, QA, Production, Accounting)
• Identify and resolve shipping issues, including damaged or missing shipments, and manage claims
• Maintain shipment records and prepare reports such as sales and tonnage reports
• Support accounting with monthly expense accrual information
