Position
Inside Sales Associate​​​​​​​

Summary
​​​​​​​Under the general supervision of the Inside Sales Supervisor, the incumbent maintains sales department documents and
provides detailed reporting and data analysis to the management staff. The incumbent is integral in the communications
loop with sales, production control and other departments in PMD and/or SDG to support order management.

Essential Duties
​​​​​​​Provide detailed sales reporting and data analysis to management staff
• Compiles and records data internally or online in support of internal and external sales activities
• Performs data analysis for evaluation of performance towards targeted metrics
• Reviews and reports on the results and impact of internal and external (3rd party) reports and analysis (i.e.
SPI, UCC, etc.)
• Provide the evaluation of sales activity on focused accounts per region and per sales team
• Evaluate the quote tendencies and trends as well as sales commission levels from quote log

 ​​​​​​​Provide efficient and timely communication regarding sales topics
• Support machine and equipment order processing, communication, and project status, from the point of
order placement to machine and equipment receipt. Works closely with PMD Logitech group to ensure
timely delivery of machines.
• Interacts with Chiba Production control group daily on a variety of topics.

 ​​​​​​​Provide and maintain Inside Sales documentation
• Create, maintain and record booking, stock and modification lists based on new or revised machine release
information and updates of ETD/ETA dates received

 ​​​​​​​Any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications
​​​​​​​Required: High School Diploma or equivalent education
・1-2 years’ related experience and/or training, OR
・Fluent in Japanese and English (ability to translate Japanese to English)

Preferred: 2 year Degree or equivalent education
・Preferred experience in equipment manufacturing
environment
