About the Position
A Japanese beverage company is currently seeking an e-Commerce Specialist to join their team. The e-Commerce Specialist will focus on managing sales and inventory on Amazon and other strategic platforms that align with the company strategy.

Company Summary 
The company is the largest producer of Japanese Matcha green tea. They are committed to providing high-quality organic and conventional Matcha to the world. The company supports the North American market by supplying Matcha powder in bulk to manufacturers, wholesale quantities to small businesses and cafés, and their brand products to retail customers.

Essential Duties
e-Commerce Strategies

• Plan, develop and implement online business strategy, focusing primarily on Amazon; implement overall best practices to increase sales
• Manage and maintain strategies on Amazon’s selling platforms to meet growth objectives
• Working with outside Amazon agencies to maximize sales results
• Builds product pages and execute new uploads; collaborates and assists Marketing with photo shoots and asset management
• Manage and maintain listings, content descriptions and content optimization daily, including setting up new listings, operating terms, modifying the listings and optimize them according to company’s marketing strategies
• Maintain and maintain accuracy, integrity and quality of Product Detail pages in a consistent brand voice
• Ensures products are competitively priced
• Track weekly performance metrics and implement strategies to improve
• Creates sales and marketing reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly
• Assists with inventory forecasting and planning
• Monitor competitors and adjust approach to ensure position as a category leader
• Create key words on listing titles for products; continually identify and evaluate new opportunities for better product listing optimization
• Enhance product titles, descriptions, categorization, and keywords for optimal performance, improving page rank and sales
• Conduct ongoing research to enhance content performance, web and market trends, keyword optimization
• Other duties and projects as assigned

e-Commerce Customer Service

• Support retailer initiatives including, but not limited to, processing orders and returns, setting up new SKUs, and tracking shipments
• Monitor and analyze performance, rankings, ratings and customer reviews
• Monitors and delivers exceptional customer service, including responding to all customer messages, questions and/or concerns in a timely manner
• Maintain and update inventory availability
• Coordinate shipping management with warehouse
• Monitors all channels for errors, alerts, questions and inquiries, works to manage case logs and works to resolve all issues in a timely manner
• Keeps notes, logs of daily activities
• Other duties and projects as assigned

OTHER & MISCELLANEOUS

• Creates new or edits standing operating procedures on tasks
• Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace
• Maintains good communication with Management, office, staff members and outside contacts
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures as described in the Company Handbook.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in a similar role
• Must have experience working with Amazon marketplace account management, maintaining a high level of seller performance
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university in eCommerce, marketing, and/or business; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Pays attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Must be tech savvy
