Sales Manager 

Summary
Japanese Industrial Machinery & Equipment is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development efforts in the U.S. market. This position focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and serving as the primary liaison between customers, overseas suppliers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients and vendors.

Essential Duties

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing and industrial sectors

• Conduct customer visits, perform needs assessments, and deliver proposal and solution presentations

• Source machinery and equipment from overseas suppliers and prepare quotations based on technical requirements

• Manage the end-to-end sales process, including price negotiation, order placement, documentation, and delivery schedule control

• Coordinate with engineers, logistics teams, and service staff to ensure smooth installation and project execution

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners

• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and technical seminars

Working Hours, Working Style
Full-time position
Travel up to 30%, including domestic and occasional international travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred

• 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial machinery, equipment, or trading companies

• Strong communication, negotiation, and project coordination skills

• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial product knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools

• Business-level English required; Spanish language skills are a plus

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
