- Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.- Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.- Conducts audits of benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.- Assists with processing of terminations.- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.- Assists with recruitment and interview process.- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.- Maintains inventory of office supplies; order new supplies as needed.- Files documents into appropriate employee files.- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.- Prepares new-employee files.- Maintains monthly headcount reports and organization chart.- Attends Safety Committee Meeting and performs safety administrations.- Books hotels and car rental for guests.
＊EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administrations, or related field and/or equivalent experience.- At least two years’ related experience preferred, but not required.＊REASONING ABILITY:- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.＊CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: NONE＊SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NO＊TRAVEL: less than 10 %
＊LANGUAGE SKILLS:- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.＊MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
