This position has the responsibility to drive new business development under the strategy set together with the Head of Business Unite (BU). This position reports to Infrastructure Group General Manager and EIIA Energy Service Business Unit Head.Business Development?Participate in defining the strategy internally within this company and also with Tokyo head office?Coordinate market research, monitor key market trends, attend conferences to target and identify new business prospects and opportunities in core and non-core business sectors?Develop business cases and presentations for new potential opportunities, leading analysis of important strategic choices, threats, and opportunities, and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive insights and collaboration across the organization?Originate and maintain potential partners and investment targets for future collaboration?Set up meetings with the potential partners and investment targets to discuss and negotiate partnerships or investments?Assist in evaluating target investments opportunities that meet the company's strategy?Once the negotiation for partnership or investment moves further, drive due diligence, especially from a financial modeling perspective, together with Head of BU and other team members?Drive internal approval process (Investment Committee, etc.), including creation of financial models or presentation materialsAsset Management?Oversee the BU's involvement in any investments/projects?Coordinate the BU's budget processOther?Travel both domestically and internationally, as required.?Complete projects as assigned
- Accounting, corporate and project finance, tax and operations- Expertise with Excel spreadsheet/modeling- Written & oral communication and presentation skills using PowerPoint- Organizational skills with attention to detail- Proactive and collaborative- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics or engineering.
