Position
Project Manager and Sales

Summary
A company is seeing a Bilingual Japanese/English Project Manager to join their team in Santa Clara, CA(Plus Multiple locations). This position is responsible for the communication between American clients and Japanese vendors to manage projects company products. This company’s products include R&D to Production scale machinery related to secondary batteries. Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese and English fluently and have a bachelor’s degree. This is a full-time position, exempt with excellent benefits and 401K.

Essential Duties
• Communicate with Japanese Manufacturers and North American clients to Manage all the projects under sales department
• Work with sales department to manage the projects, attend all meeting between customers and vendors and write a comprehensive meeting minute so both parties have consensus of the progress of the projects, installation including taking care of shipment from Japan, and commissioning of R&D to Production scale machinery related to secondary batteries and equipment related to second batteries
• Communicate and coordinate project with customers, general contractors, riggers, and engineers from supplier to meet designated timelines and budgets under sales department.
• Builds and maintains good relationship with customers, suppliers, business partners, working with sales department
• Some business trips and travel will be required
• To be able to manage multiple tasks of projects
• Clarify specification and schedule to meet customers requirement
• Prepare and submit required documents and drawings to customers
• Negotiate contract with customers and suppliers during installation
• Set up project and complete project by controlling expenses to meet budget working with sales department
• Communicate with customer and supplier in case of urgent technical requirements
• Sales support to North American clients.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree of BS in engineering (Preferred), however, None engineering degree accepted

Experience:
• Project management and/or related work : 5 years (Preferred)
