Job Description

【Position】
 Fundraising  Development/ Manager

【Summary】

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in fundraising or donation solicitation
• Native-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Significant professional work experience, including management roles
• Proficiency in office software and willingness to learn new technologies
• Experience with fundraising software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge) is preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with faculty, students, parents, and donors
• Collaborative team player
• Ability to travel overseas as needed

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute fundraising plans
• Plan and manage fundraising events
• Oversee donation management
• Manage donor relations and organize donor receptions
• Maintain the donor database
• Serve as the president’s secretary (manage schedules and support presidential activities)
• Prepare for and manage board of trustees meetings (including minute-taking and attendance management, as you will be appointed as the Secretary of the Corporation)
• Act as the office manager
