Responsibilities:

•  Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts.
• Reconciles general ledger accounts monthly, reviews, and resolves outstanding issues.
• Processes Accounts Payable and reconciles vendor accounts.
• Manages vendor relations to resolve disputes and issues.
• Maintains PO log & monitors non-compliant invoices.
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• As appropriate, coordinates with software vendors to maintain accounting software systems; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
• Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
• Reconciles bank accounts monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries.
• Processes cash receipts and customer account reconciliation.
• Assists with Deloitte Audit for documentation.
• Assists with J-Sox audit for documentation.
• Assists with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close.
• Maintains Concur software for employee expenses and the approval process.
• Complies with the company's policies and procedures.
• Incorporates the company's corporate principles and values.

Qualifications: 

• Associate degree in accounting is required. A Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
• Three to five years of accounting experience required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have knowledge of MS Excel.
• Basic accounting software: SAGE 100 is preferred.

Travel:  Less than 0-10%​​​​​​​

Salary Range: Starting at 75K
