Position
Sr. Operations Manager

Summary
The Sr. Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations at the Rome, Georgia facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role focuses on achieving manufacturing objectives efficiently while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Essential Duties

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company objectives
• Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource use
• Direct and manage overall production operations, coordinating activities across departments
• Establish and manage manufacturing budgets, including labor and capital expenses
• Ensure quality control standards are maintained, with a focus on in-line production quality
• Partner with Quality Assurance to implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote and enforce SCORE principles: Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, Efficiency
• Provide leadership, training, and support to departmental teams to boost morale and performance
• Drive continuous improvement and address issues related to production or shipping quality
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with relevant regulations and policies
• Collaborate with internal departments and act as a key liaison with suppliers and customers

Working Hours, Working Style
Full-time, exempt position; hours may vary depending on production needs. On-site presence required; primarily plant-based work.

Salary/Benefit
Annual salary up to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Full benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field (Advanced degree preferred)
• 10+ years of management experience in a manufacturing setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with manufacturing systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally as required
