Position
Business Coordinator (​​​​​contractor position)

Summary
A Japanese company specializing in the manufacturing and sales of consumer goods, including healthcare products (shampoos etc.) and cosmetics is expanding its business in USA.
They are looking for a Business Coordinator who can facilitate smooth communication and coordination among internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties
- Coordinate with suppliers of raw materials to ensure timely procurement and quality control.
- Collaborate with OEM manufacturers and production facilities to oversee the production process and address any issues that may arise.
- Research and evaluate potential new OEM manufacturers, including scouting for new production facilities to expand our supply chain.
- Serve as the main point of contact between the production teams and the Japan-based headquarters.
- Facilitate smooth communication and coordination among internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend and participate in quarterly business trips, including attending trade shows and visiting OEM manufacturing facilities.
- Attend and participate in meetings with the Japan headquarters, typically once a week, and adjust working hours accordingly to accommodate Japan's time zone.

Work from home, with flexible hours (approximately 3 hours per day)
Potential for business travel once per quarter

Salary/Benefit
This is a contractor position for a monthly salary of $2,000.

Qualifications
Language: Business-level proficiency in English, Japanese language skills are preferred.
Experience: Experience in coordinating and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders in both business and production environments.

Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
