Position
Executive Assistant/ Japanese Translator

Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide high-level administrative and clerical support to the President and Vice President, Executive Staff and Expat support as outlined in the functions below.

Essential Duties

• Performs clerical and administrative tasks including emails, reports, and other documents for President/Vice President and Executive Staff
• Arranges travel and accommodations for President/Vice President, visitors from Aisan and Expats and completes expense reports on their behalf.
• Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of executives, translating as necessary, and taking notes
• Reviews assigned, incoming communication on behalf of President/VP, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff
• Performs office tasks including maintaining records and performing basic review of information
• Performs additional, related duties as assigned by Executives, President and Vice President

• Fluent Japanese and English written and oral language in Japanese business Proficient
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a fast paced, high energy environment
• Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures and recordkeeping systems
• Able to type a minimum of 50 wpm
• Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software

Qualifications
Education Requirements: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Work Experience Requirements: At least 4 years of related experience required
