【Position】

Information Systems Manager 

【Summary】

The IT Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer‐related activities in an organization. This position determines the IT needs of an organization and is responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements. This position will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of critical business applications, with a specific focus on SAP (or other equivalent ERP experiences).

【Essential Duties】

• ​​Manage all information technology and computer systems.
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Coordinate with other Global IT teams (Mainly teams in Japan and in Germany) and team members.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
• Assist with Financial/IT audit as necessary.
• Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Create and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost‐effective solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend technology investments to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate service levels.
• Liaise with business stakeholders to understand their technology needs and align IT services accordingly.
• Implement and enforce security policies, protocols, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST) and regulatory requirements.
• Be available on 24/7 level to make sure business runs smoothly, without suspension.

  • Propose enhancements to existing applications and SAP systems.
  • Stay informed about SAP updates and industry trends.

【Qualifications】
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of work experience as an IT Manager required. Professional Certifications desired. Proven experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies. Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems. Experience with VMware, Azure AD, Networking, Google Workspace, M365 Admin Center, Apple Business Manager required. Experience with Starship, SAP (FICO, MM, SD, CS) SAP Work Manager, RingCentral, Unifi products, Salesforce a plus.
