Position
Senior Accounting/Finance Clerk
Summary
The Senior Accounting/Finance Clerk is responsible for performing complex financial duties which
include maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements and assisting
tax returns and audit.
Essential Duties
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Collects and processes invoices for payment
• Posts details of business transactions to the accounting system
• Creates the sales report
• Reconciles sales data and bank statement and verifies discrepancies
• Prepares bank statements and other various working paper for financial closing
• Generates cash flow reports
• Reconciles accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Creates monthly financial statements and quarterly reporting package
• Provides accurate, timely and relevant recording and reporting of financial information to our management and external parties
• Assists with and acts as the primary point-of-contact for auditor request
• Communicates financial institutes to maintain banking procedures
• Researches and monitors sales tax for stores
• Assists filing federal, state and other local taxes
• Monitors the credit limit of corporate credit cards and reconciles with bank statements
• Sets up business account with vendors
• Aids in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards and guidelines.
• Guides junior staff by answering questions and coordinating informational classes
• Performs misc. accounting and finance related tasks on ad-hoc basis

9:00~18:00

Qualifications
​​​​​​​Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
3 years of accounting/finance experience

Attention to detail
Working knowledge of GAAP principles
Ability to handle multiple tasks in timely manner
Quick learner and self-starter
Computer Skills
Experience with accounting software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Reasoning Ability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, as well as company guidelines and procedures. Ability to effectively prepare and communicate routine documents and action plans to Executives.
Being able to read architectural plans a big plus.

Practical Skills
Ability to understand figures and numbers such as they apply to spreadsheets and/or budgets. Possess, knowledge with general construction and permits in regards to building and opening a new store.

Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Reasoning Ability
Ability to interpret and present a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and discretion.
