【Position】
Air Import Agent 
【Summary】
 A major Japanese logistics company is looking for Air Import staff. Experience is not required.
【Essential Duties】
 Job tasks:

• Communicate with airlines daily for arrival confirmation
• Communicate with trucking/dispatch for final mile delivery arrangements, creating delivery orders/paperwork for drivers
• Entering POD (proof of deliveries)
• Communicate with customers and fulfill their request for delivery/other special arrangements
• Filing/organization of shipment files
• Accounting/billing of customer accounts, uploading to 3^rd party payment websites
  • Auditing files to ensure contract rates are followed
• Quotation requests for air freight, or trucking costs

【Qualifications】
Desired Requirements:

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite 365
• Typing speed of min. 60 WPM or more
• Logistics/Air and Ocean experience
• Airlines experience/knowledge
• Familiarity with customs brokerage terms and AMS, international commerce/incoterms, etc.
• Strong ability to adapt and follow fast-paced work environment
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to work well independently as well as in a group/team
