【Position】
Sales Assistant / Marketing 

【Summary】
Provides sales and marketing support function to Japan for international
and U.S. domestic customers/clients. Responsible for managing Sales / Administrative functions,
Logistics coordination and accounting function for the Business Department. Create new Business
Development independent of  Japan business.

【Essential Duties】
・Promotes and sells products and services to Japanese and North American customers.
・Arrange customer visits from Japan and support & coordinate meetings such a translation and
prepare meeting minutes, arrange travel arrangements for the customer.
・ Review department yearly sales budget with the management team. Tracks monthly sales data
and reports to head office in Japan.
・Manages export and import licensing requirements, coordinate logistics operation for export and
import working with LA staff.
・ Develop new accounts and expand the customer base in North America working with Japan.
・Create and deliver sales presentations to market products to various potential customers.
・Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of
delivery
・ Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
・Remain current in market conditions and product developments by attending sales meetings,
vendor training and trade shows, or reading trade journals.
・ Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
・Handling product claims between the customer and manufacture/distributors.

9:00-17:00

El Segundo
※Work in office twice a week

70-85K

【Qualifications】
・Basic knowledge of import/export procedures, logistics, terminology, and documentation
・Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Power Point.
・Basic bookkeeping skills.
・Ability to communicate effectively with those inside/outside the Company
・Strong organizational skills and must meet deadlines
・Proficiency skills in Japanese & English is preferred.
・Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
