Administrative Assistant (Part Time)

Position Summary
A ​​​​​​Japanese food and alcohol beverage distributor is hiring an Administrative Assistant on a part-time basis for a duration of approximately 6 months (TBD). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by translating sake label descriptions, organizing historical documents, and maintaining accurate records. Must be Japanese-English bilingual (fundamental reading/writing skills in Japanese). 

Essential Duties

• Translate sake label description into Japanese on Microsoft word and save it as PDF in share folder.
• Scan all COLA and relevant documents received from year of 1982 to 2022 and save in share folder.
• Look up formula ID and fill in the date on excel spread sheet.
• Look up label size; convert label size from mm to inch.

Working Hours & Style
15-20hrs/week

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be bilingual in Japanese and English, possessing fundamental reading and writing skills in Japanese.
  • Please note:  While translation skills are required, an advanced or native level of Japanese proficiency is not mandatory. The translation tasks primarily involve straightforward content, such as sake types and the addresses of makers.
