About the Position
A Japanese beverage company is seeking a Marketing Associate. This position is ​​​​​​responsible for the coordination of promotional activities of the Company’s products and growth marketing programs. Supports Management in the planning and implementation of product marketing strategies across various campaigns and projects.

Company Summary
The company is the largest producer of Japanese Matcha green tea. They are committed to providing high-quality organic and conventional Matcha to the world. The company supports the North American market by supplying Matcha powder in bulk to manufacturers, wholesale quantities to small businesses and cafés, and their brand products to retail customers.

Essential Duties
Paid Media

• Develop and execute paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms to maximize brand visibility, reach potential customers, and drive website traffic.
• Manage Google and Amazon ad campaigns to optimize product visibility and drive sales.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create comprehensive advertising strategies in line with our marketing goals and objectives. Identify target audiences, demographics, and craft compelling messages to maximize their engagement and conversion rates.
• Develop compelling and engaging ad creatives in partnership with the Marketing team. Implement A/B testing methodologies to measure ad performance, including ad copy, visuals, targeting strategies, and landing pages.
• Analyze and optimize campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI and enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
• Regularly generate reports with performance metrics and actionable insights to present to Management.

Marketing Support

• Support the Marketing department with marketing projects and promotional activities for all sales divisions
  (Ingredients, Wholesale, Retail, eCommerce, etc.).
• Work in collaboration with the Brand & Marketing Manager to manage the product portfolio, developing
  business strategies, objectives, and insights for future campaigns.
• Coordinate the planning and execution of sales, promotions, new product announcements, and other online
  campaigns for Wholesale and Retail customers.
• Conduct research of direct competitors, food and beverage companies, and other relevant brands, providing
  reports to Management.

Growth Marketing

• Work cross-functionally with department to optimize current digital advertising strategies such as email
  marketing, rewards, and subscription programs in order to improve key metrics around sales revenue,
  conversion rates, AOV, repeat purchase rate, repeat customer rate, and lifetime value.
• Develop testing strategies around creative, messaging, and segmentation to ensure all communications are
  optimized toward performance, driving revenue, and delivering on key brand attributes of education,
  personalization, and human touch.
• Oversee maintenance of the CRM, optimizing current customer lists and building new targeted segments to
  test strategies and ensure favorable results.
• Track the performance of campaigns through online data sources to identify growth opportunities and turn data into actionable insights.

Other & Miscellaneous 

• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management to support
  organizational growth.
• Seeks constant improvement and more efficient ways/means in work processes.
• Maintains good communication with Management, office staff members, and outside contacts.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to Management for solutions.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education
  and experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in CPG or the food and beverage industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in planning, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across social media platforms
  required.
• Proficiency in using advertising and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager,
  etc. required.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Google Ads and Amazon Advertising required.
• Working knowledge of SEO strategies and best practices preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from campaign data required.
• Working knowledge of e-commerce marketing tools/software (email, website analytics, promotional planning,
  digital advertising, and reporting) required.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Lightroom preferred.
