Analyst

Summary

The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for monthly KPI reports, developing training needs, motivating, and supporting sales in our growing logistics business. Hankyu Hanshin Express (USA) Inc. is a global Freight Forwarder NVOCC with an established presence in the world and is targeting expansion of logistics in the supply chain due to recent events. .

Essential Duties

Logistics Analyst  Standardize HHE USA warehouse operations and procedures in accordance with Hankyu Management System of quality and customer satisfaction.  Continually improve (Kaizen) practices using PCDA method for Quality Warehouse Management.  Prepare monthly management reports for senior management and overseas home office.  Analyze performance statistics and track KPI/KGI’s to discuss recommendations.  Compose customer requirements and align with our service standards.  Assist with quotations and operational implementation as needed.  Participate in both branch and corporate sales projects and quarterly online meetings.  Establish and maintain relationships with various offices, vendors, and customers.  Knowledge and implementation of 3S/5S and onboarding new Logistics members. Other and miscellaneous  Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager and/or the Company.  Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace and while representing the Company.  Report immediately all irregular issues and problems to supervisor/manager for solution.  Maintain good communication with management, staff members and outside contacts/vendors.  Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.  Comply with all company policies and procedures.  Maintain mandatory E-learning courses as required.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.  Must have between three to five years of previous experience in a similar position. General Equipment  General office equipment including phones, copier, personal computer, etc …  Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office, CargoWise – a plus but not mandatory. Certificates / Licenses  IAC Security Training Record/Certificate and approved STA required.  Any other certificate or training records that are required by each department, position/title, or government agency. Supervisory Responsibilities  None.
