Responsibilities: -Manage staffing process - recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding -Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations-Develop Life Cycle Performance System -Facilitate performance program ? development, training, and assessment.-Job Descriptions: develop and maintain to ensure employees understand their job responsibilities-Ensure employees follow all policies and procedures-Recommend policies changes based on employee and company needs -Active participant in HR annual budget development-Participate in developing & executing company strategic goals & objectives.-Compensation standards - research and recommend strategy-Create salary and benefit structures-Administer employee benefits-Process bi-weekly payroll-Support company audits ? financial, JSOX, quality, 401K, etc.-Supervise HR activities - communications, reports, and requests-Leads manager development in areas of employment law, performance management, and professional development. -Develop and oversee Expat Program for our Japanese employees. -Guide supervisors on issues of employee performance, development, or discipline. -Represent company in unemployment claims.-Lead workplace injuries/incidents ? investigation, reporting, and actions -Communicate HR Corporate of potential unlawful allegations and investigations. ---Manage one staff member-Other duties as assigned
Requirements:-Human resource related position for at least 5 years.-BA degree in human resources or related field (Preferred)-Effective verbal and written communication skills-Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite-Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations-Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork.-Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning.-Strong interpersonal, negotiation, coaching and influencing skills with all levels of employees and leaders.-Bilingual in Japanese and English (Preferred)
