About the Position 
A Japanese manufacturer  is seeking a qualified Sales Representative. This position is responsible to promote the company’s products and services, focusing on the US manufacturing sales channels in order to increase the profit of the company as well as maintain the existing customer base.  ​​​​​Must be Japanese-English bilingual (business-level proficiency in both languages).

Essential Duties

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
• Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives
• Present and demonstrate products or services to potential clients
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
• Provide exceptional customer service and support
• Handle sales inquiries and resolve customer complaints
• Stay updated with industry trends, products, and competitors
• Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve collective goals
• Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solutions
• Maintains good communication with management, office, staff members and outside contacts
• Complies with all company policies and procedures as described in the company handbook
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area

Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a sales role preferred
• Must be Japanese-English bilingual (business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English)
• Must be willing to come into the office daily
• Must be willing to travel frequently to visit clients throughout the year 
• Must have a driver’s license and a clean driving record
