1. Repair and Maintenancea) Maintain, repair, and manage company's equipment and facilities.b) Create repair plan and implement for Company's equipment and facilities. c) Improve maintenance procedures by utilization of best maintenance practices.d) Conduct regular inspections of the plant to detect and resolve issues related to equipment, keep records of documents, and update blueprint. 2. Installationa) Get estimates, place orders, receive and inspect parts and equipment.b) Collect invoices and packing slips for parts and equipment.3. Create and submit documents to City or any other government administrative offices as required.4. Ensure all Company's equipment and facilities comply with OSHA requirements.5. Train and qualify Company associates to operate equipment facilities.6. Ensure no environmental spills.7. Create staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffing and monitor their attendance.8. Create and implement maintenance procedures and schedules: SOP’s, PSM’s, PM’, etc.9. Conduct regular inspections of the plant to detect and resolve problems related to equipment (e.g., HVAC, compressed air, boiler operation, water treatment filtration system, production lines, process security, wastewater treatment) and facilities.10. Ensure all department employees comply with Company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.11. Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.12. Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.13. Provide technical assessment of equipment to determine what components should be repaired or replaced to maximize equipment performance.14. Perform all other tasks related to the above responsibilities.
Position Requirementsa) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environmentb) Safety Management and Risk Management experiencec) Excellent written and verbal communication skillsd) Detail oriented and organizational skills e) Proficient computer skills in spreadsheets; data bases, and word processingf) Excellent technical knowledge of equipment, products, and processesg) Strong background in HAACP, workplace safety, and SQFh) Good knowledge of PLC skillsi) Must have a hands-on work ethic
