Senior Full Stack Engineer / Technical Lead (AI & Knowledge Systems)

Summary
Ａ Japanese technology firm specializes in AI and Knowledge Systems for enterprise and OEM clients is seeking a senior-level engineer who combines strong hands-on implementation skills with architecture design, technical leadership, and team management capabilities. This Digital Creative Specialist role sits at the intersection of AI, data, and enterprise platforms.

This role will lead system development from PoC through production, define technical direction, manage a small engineering team, and participate in technical discussions with OEM and enterprise clients.

Essential Duties

• Design and develop enterprise applications and knowledge platforms as a full stack engineer
• Build AI-enabled systems leveraging LLMs and RAG architectures
• Lead system and solution architecture design
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs
• Own implementation from PoC to production deployment
• Manage and mentor a small engineering team
• Conduct code reviews and ensure engineering quality
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams
• Participate in technical discussions with clients and OEM partners
• Support estimation, planning, and technical risk assessment

• Team management (up to ~10 engineers)
• Final responsibility for technical decision-making
• Mentorship and development of junior engineers
• Definition of quality and engineering standards
• Involvement in hiring and technical evaluations

• High level of client interaction, including issue resolution and risk management
• Participation in OEM and enterprise client meetings
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Decision-making and negotiation with an understanding of business and organizational context

Working Hours, Working style

Qualifications

MUST

• 7+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent)
• Strong full stack development experience
• Proven system and architecture design capabilities
• Experience delivering systems from PoC to production
• Team leadership and management experience
• Client-facing or stakeholder-facing experience
• Backend and API design experience
• Cloud-based development experience
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
