Warehouse Staff

Summary
A Japanese logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Staff. This role is responsible for the physical loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials, as well as the critical documentation and data entry required for accurate logistics management. The ideal candidate will balance physical stamina with high attention to detail.

Essential Duties (Unofficial; Please ask the interviewer for more details)

• ​​​​​​​Receiving Operations: Verify incoming shipments by checking addresses, labels, and dimensions; document damages or discrepancies; and generate receiving reports (O/H reports/labels).
• Shipping Operations: Prepare cargo for outbound transit by weighing, inspecting, and packing goods; apply appropriate house/direct labels and shipping marks; and repair/repack boxes to ensure safe transport.
• Inventory & Storage Management: Secure goods in designated areas to maximize space; provide clear instructions to forklift operators; maintain O/H files; and perform regular inventory counts for customer reporting.
• Shipment Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming items per customer instructions; record missing or damaged goods; and communicate discrepancies to management and customers immediately.
• Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and PPE requirements; troubleshoot operational issues in a timely manner; and monitor warehouse supplies to notify supervisors of low inventory.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings; provide constructive feedback; and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while supporting colleagues as needed.

Monday - Friday;  9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Qualifications

• Previous experience in forklift operation is a big plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials and remain active throughout the shift.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in basic computer functions; ability to perform system-based data entry and use communication tools (email/phone).
