Summary
This position is responsible for sales support and administrative functions, primarily serving Japanese corporate clients. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including customer and supplier coordination, document preparation, project progress management, and interpretation/translation. The position supports smooth communication between the Japan-based headquarters and local stakeholders in the U.S.​​​​​​​
Essential Duties
​​​​​​​

• Provide sales activities and sales support for Japanese corporate clients, including email and phone communication in both Japanese and English

• Maintain and follow up with existing customers and assist with basic outreach to new customers

• Gather customer needs and share relevant information with internal teams

• Coordinate and communicate with suppliers and business partners

• Prepare quotations, adjust pricing and terms, and explain details to customers

• Create proposals and sales-related documents in Japanese and English

• Prepare, enter, and manage business-related documents

• File and manage invoices and related documentation

• Communicate with the Japan-based headquarters via email and phone

• Create and issue purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices

• Manage project progress and prepare internal reports

• Provide interpretation and translation support for internal and external meetings (Japanese/English)

• Coordinate information with local accounting and finance personnel

• Support expatriate employees and their families with daily life–related matters

Working Hours, Working style

​​​​​​​commute to office 5 days/week​​​​​​​

Salary/Benefit

• Annual Salary: $55,000 – $65,000

Qualifications
​​​​​​​

• Business-level bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (spoken and written)

• Valid driver’s license

• Availability for overtime and weekend work as needed

• Experience in sales support, administrative, or coordination roles preferred

• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to handle multiple tasks flexibly and efficiently
