HR Assistant Manager    

Summary
The Assistant Manager – HR, General Affairs & Safety supports the Manager in overseeing Human Resources, General Affairs, and Safety operations. This role assists in implementing company policies and programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining a safe and productive workplace. The position collaborates closely with the Manager and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations and supports initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals.

Essential Duties

• 1.    HR & General Affairs Support
  •    Assist in the development and execution of HR, General Affairs, and Safety policies and procedures.
  •    Support compliance efforts with labor laws, ISO standards, and company regulations.
  •    Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and administrative documentation.
  2.    Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  •    Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  •    Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and initial training.
  3.    Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support
  •    Prepare payroll data for review and approval by the Manager.
  •    Support benefits administration, enrollment, and employee inquiries.
  4.    Performance Management & Training
  •    Assist in scheduling and tracking performance reviews.
  •    Coordinate internal and external training sessions, maintaining training records.
  5.    Employee Relations & Engagement
  •    Serve as a point of contact for routine employee inquiries.
  •    Assist in organizing company events, recognition programs, and engagement activities.
  6.    Safety & Workplace Standards
  •    Support workplace safety initiatives, inspections, and training.
  •    Monitor compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies.
  •    Assist in coordinating emergency drills, PPE distribution, and incident reporting.
  7.    Office & Facility Management
  •    Help manage office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance requests.
  •    Coordinate with vendors for administrative and safety-related services.
  8.    Reporting & Documentation
  •    Prepare HR and safety-related reports for review by the Manager.
  •    Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with company policy.
  9.    Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Onsite, Full-Time

Salary/Benefit
60k-70k

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
•    Minimum 3–5 years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
•    Basic knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and safety regulations.
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/payroll systems.


Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Japanese.
• Experience with ISO9001, IATF16949, or OSHA compliance.
• HR or Safety-related certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, OSHA 30-hour).
