Position Air Import Coordinator

Summary This is an entry-level full-time position responsible for coordinating air freight shipments. The role involves managing the flow of goods from origin to final destination, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining frequent email communication with vendors and overseas agents in English.

Essential Duties

• Shipment Coordination: Arrange and monitor air freight shipments from the point of origin to the final destination.

• Documentation: Prepare, process, and distribute all necessary paperwork, such as air waybills, import declarations, and delivery orders. Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.

• Regulatory Compliance: Work with customs brokers and customs agents to ensure all import shipments are compliant with international regulations.

• Communication: Maintain daily communication with clients, vendors, agents, airlines, and truckers to provide status updates, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth import process.

• Tracking and tracing: Track and trace all inbound cargo, ensuring milestones are accurately recorded and timelines are met.

• Financial administration: Create invoices for services rendered and verify payable invoices from vendors and carriers for accuracy before processing for payment.

• Full Time (40 hours per week)

• Monday through Friday
