Position Ocean Export Coordinator(Part time)

Summary This is an entry-level part-time position focused on handling shipments for customers relocating to Japan. The role involves arranging cargo space, managing documentation (often in Japanese), and ensuring compliance with export regulations.

Essential Duties

• Booking & Scheduling: Arranging cargo space with steamship lines and truckers, managing pickups, and optimizing routes.

• Documentation: Producing and managing shipping instructions, Dock Receipts, Bill of Lading, and AES filing.

• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to internal policies, FMC (Federal Maritime Commission) rules, and export regulations.

• Tracking & Tracing: Monitoring shipments from origin to destination.

• Coordination: Liaising with suppliers, overseas agents, carriers, and internal teams.

Working Hours, Working style

• Part Time (20 - 30 hours per week)

• Flexible scheduling (Desired selective dates).

Salary/Benefit

• Hourly Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 / hr

• Benefits: Not eligible for standard benefits if working less than 30 hours per week.

• Sick Leave: 5 sick days granted per year.
