Position
Real Estate Acquisition 

Summary
The Acquisition professional will be responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and executing real estate investment opportunities. This role plays a key part in expanding the company’s U.S. property portfolio through market research, financial analysis, due diligence, and deal execution.

Essential Duties
​​​​​​​

• Source and evaluate potential real estate acquisition opportunities (residential, multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use)

• Conduct financial analysis, including underwriting, cash flow modeling, IRR, and sensitivity analysis

• Perform market research on pricing trends, rents, vacancy rates, and comparable sales

• Coordinate and manage due diligence processes (legal, financial, technical, environmental)

• Prepare investment memos, proposals, and presentation materials for internal approval and Japan HQ reporting

• Negotiate purchase terms with brokers, sellers, and other counterparties

• Work closely with internal teams (asset management, accounting, legal) and external advisors

• Monitor deal pipeline and maintain relationships with brokers, lenders, and industry contacts

• Support post-acquisition handover to asset management teams

Qualifications​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​

• 5+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment, brokerage, or related fields

• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills

• Solid understanding of U.S. real estate markets and transaction processes

• Experience with due diligence and closing procedures

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
