Job Description

【Position】
Freezer（Warehouse Staff）

【Essential Duties】
Position Overview:
​​​​​​​Manually move product or other materials and perform other unskilled general labor

Tasks:
Read orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments
 Record numbers of units handled and moved
 Move product and other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles by hand and special equipment
 Sort product before loading and unloading
 Other light maintenance duties

Work Context:
Lifting/carrying up to about 50 lbs
 Pushing/pulling more than 80 -100 lbs
 Operating machinery, including forklift, pallet jacket, etc.
 Coordination and communication with management and peers
 Requires written and oral communication in English
 Requires being exact or highly accurate
 Requires meeting strict deadlines
 Requires coordinating with others in accomplishing work activities
 Includes responsibility for work outcomes
 Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
 Required working for periods of up to 60 minutes is temperatures below 5 degrees
 Requires wearing special cold temperature protective gear
 Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
 Requires standing for extended periods of time
 Requires repetitive movement, walking, bending, twisting, seeing, hearing, talking,
manual dexterity and flexibility in fingers and hands
 Requires reaching with hands and arms
 Requires repeating the same physical and mental activities over and over
 Requires working until the daily work is finished (8 hours or more)
