Procurement Specialist

Summary
​​​​​​​This company is dedicated to providing top-tier travel services across the United States to meet the robust and evolving demands originating from Japan.
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist whose mission is to secure the highest quality accommodations, dining, and transportation at the most competitive rates.
This role centers on managing and optimizing the supply chain by engaging directly with our partners across the US, all based on confirmed demand from Japan.

Essential Duties
１）Supplier Negotiation & Relationship Management:
​​​​​​​　・Actively communicate with key contacts within hotels, restaurants, and motorcoach/bus companies (both existing and potential partners).
　・Lead negotiations to secure the best possible terms, aiming for better quality at lower cost.
　・Foster long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that go beyond transactional business.

２）Demand Fulfillment:
​​​​​​​　・Effectively manage and execute inbound sourcing requests from our Japanese network, ensuring supply stability under optimal conditions.
３）​​​​​​​Market Intelligence:
　・Analyze US travel/tourism market trends and competitor sourcing strategies to inform and enhance our procurement strategy.

Working Hours, Working style
​​​​​​​Standard Hours: 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)

Qualifications
​​​​​​​・Proficiency in both English and Japanese is required.
・At least 2 years of experience in the travel industry or a related field
・Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
・Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
・Flexibility and adaptability in handling various tasks.
・Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel); experience with travel industry software is a plus
