Relocation Coordinator (Japanese-English Bilingual)

Summary

The Relocation Coordinator supports household and corporate moving operations for Japanese expatriates and business clients relocating between the U.S. and Japan.
This position assists with packing, loading/unloading, and on-site coordination, ensuring a smooth and professional moving experience.
The role requires bilingual communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. While heavy lifting will primarily be handled by other staff, the coordinator is expected to support on-site tasks and client communication actively.

Essential Duties

  • Greet clients upon arrival and conduct walkthroughs to confirm work scope.

  • Assist with packing, unpacking, loading, and unloading of household goods and office items.

  • Coordinate moving schedules, on-site documentation, and logistics in both English and Japanese.

  • Drive or assist with company vehicle operations for pickup and delivery (if licensed).

  • Prepare and manage related documents such as inventory lists, shipping forms, and delivery records.

  • Provide attentive customer service and guidance before, during, and after delivery.

  • Communicate effectively with Japanese expatriate clients to ensure satisfaction and trust.

  • Ensure all work follows company quality, safety, and operational standards.

  • Provide light administrative and coordination support as needed.

Working Hours / Working Style

Full-time, on-site position.
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional overtime or weekend work during busy seasons).

Working Location

Greater Houston Area, TX

Salary / Benefit

Hourly wage: Around $21/hour, depending on experience.
