IT Project Manager -Japanese Bilingual (Financial Industry, On-site Engagement)

【Summary】
A Japanese IT company is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee financial system projects on-site with a major banking or financial institution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, coordination, and delivery, ensuring effective communication between client stakeholders and internal teams in both English and Japanese.

This position is part of our expansion to meet growing project demand in the financial services domain.

【Essential Duties】
• Lead end-to-end project management for financial system implementation and enhancement projects
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders
• Coordinate across technical, business, and vendor teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Manage risks, issues, and changes while maintaining quality and timeline compliance
• Prepare documentation, progress reports, and presentations for client management

【Working Hours, Working style】
9:00-18:00 
Hybrid — Work in accordance with the client’s on-site policy, typically 2–4 days per week in the office.

【Working Location】
Client sites located in Manhattan, NY, or New Jersey

【Salary, Benefit】

【Qualifications】
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT projects, preferably within the financial or banking industry
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (both verbal and written)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience in transaction banking operations or systems (e.g., cash management, payments, trade finance) is a plus
