• Sales Representative – Pump & Water Treatment Equipment

Summary

• An international manufacturer of industrial machinery and environmental systems is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to expand its pump and water treatment business throughout the U.S. market. The role will focus on strengthening distributor networks, driving new business, and growing sales with municipal and industrial clients. This position is based in Dallas, Texas, with a focus on expanding sales coverage into the Western region.

Essential Duties

• Develop and execute sales strategies for pump and water treatment equipment targeting municipal, industrial, and engineering clients.

• Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and end users to expand business coverage.

• Identify and onboard new distributors, manage key accounts, and provide continuous customer support.

• Conduct sales visits, presentations, and product demonstrations for clients across designated territories.

• Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to propose suitable system solutions and respond to customer inquiries.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company sales policies.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to refine business strategy.

• Generate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analysis for management review.

• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer events to build brand visibility and network opportunities.

• Ensure post-sales satisfaction through consistent follow-up and coordination with after-sales service teams.

Working Hours / Work Style

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
• Frequent travel within the U.S. (approximately 30–40%).

Salary / Benefits

• Approximately USD $80,000 annually (base salary, excluding bonus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial, municipal, or water treatment equipment sales.

• Background in pump, valve, wastewater, or related engineered product sales strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to develop distributors and manage accounts independently.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Driven and self-motivated professional with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client visits and business development activities.
