Position
Domestic Logistics Coordinator

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Domestic Logistics Coordinator to join our team at a growing food manufacturer based in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will coordinate and oversee all aspects of domestic transportation and distribution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of our products to customers, distributors, and retail partners throughout the U.S.

Essential Duties
・Coordinate daily domestic shipments to ensure on-time delivery and accurate order fulfillment.
・Schedule and track shipments with carriers, warehouses, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
・Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and delivery schedules.
・Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning to meet production and delivery needs.
・Communicate with internal departments (Sales, Production, Customer Service) to ensure smooth logistics operations.
・Resolve transportation issues, shipment delays, or damage claims promptly.
・Negotiate freight rates and optimize transportation costs where possible.
・Maintain accurate logistics data and generate reports for management.
・Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.

Qualifications
​​​​​​​・Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
・2+ years of experience in domestic logistics, transportation coordination, or related roles (experience in the food or consumer goods industry is a plus).
・Knowledge of shipping processes, carrier management, and freight documentation.
・Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
・Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or logistics software preferred.
・Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
・Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
・Experience working with temperature-controlled or perishable goods logistics.
・Familiarity with FDA, USDA, or other food industry shipping regulations.
・Bilingual (English/Japanese or Spanish) is a plus.
