Position
Production Control Manager

Summary
As a member of the Leadership Team, this position is responsible for overseeing daily production activities and driving sales growth, efficiency, and labor productivity. The Production Control Manager supervises production planning, demand chain, cost accounting, and warehouse operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term success.

Essential Duties
Lead the Production Control Department and supervise staff in production control, planning, purchasing/supply chain, cost accounting, and warehouse.
Develop and manage master production schedules, material requirements, and capacity plans to meet business and financial objectives.
Ensure on-time delivery to customers by coordinating orders, schedules, and shipments.
Oversee cost accounting, including standard costs, budgeting, profitability analysis, and Kaizen evaluations.
Manage warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory reporting, and customs clearance.
Create and implement departmental business plans aligned with company goals.
Develop performance standards, provide training, and ensure fair evaluations to motivate staff.
Participate in leadership meetings and maintain communication with Japan and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

8:00am-4:30pm
Monday to Friday,
On-site (office or plant office)

Qualifications
No specific educational minimum; qualifications based on education, transferable work experience, learning attitude, and aptitude.
Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and training skills.
Knowledge of production control, supply chain, cost accounting, and warehouse operations.
Familiarity with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and barcode systems.
Understanding of company goals, customer requirements, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
Experience in marketing of bearings and automotive components is a plus.
