Interpreter  (Japanese Bilingual)

Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Japanese-English Bilingual Interpreter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about language and cross-cultural communication. Prior professional interpreting experience is not required — we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills in a supportive environment.


Essential Duties

• Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation between Japanese and English during meetings, calls, and events

• Support translation of basic documents, emails, and presentations as needed

• Assist with cultural nuance explanations to ensure effective communication

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support business activities

• Continuously develop interpretation skills through training and feedback

Qualifications 
 

• Fluency in Japanese and English (both spoken and written)

• Strong listening and communication skills

• Ability to convey messages accurately and neutrally between languages

• Interest in cross-cultural communication and willingness to learn interpreting techniques

• Professional attitude, flexibility, and reliability

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Information Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
