【Position】
Electrical Design Engineer

【Summary】
This position is for a Japanese manufacturing company’s automotive electronics division. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for planning and conducting EMC testing, troubleshooting EMC-related issues, and supporting the development of embedded electronic circuits. Strong English communication skills are required to collaborate with global teams. Japanese language skills are not necessary.

【Essential Duties】

• Planning and conducting EMC tests

• Analyzing causes and implementing countermeasures for various EMC issues

• Preparing test reports

• Understanding control protocols and register settings between MCU and peripheral ICs

• Understanding the operation of switch mode power supplies

• Communicating with internal and external teams in English

​​​​​​​Annual Salary: $75,000 – $85,000

【Qualifications】

• Practical experience in EMC test planning and measurement

• Knowledge of CISPR 25, ISO 11452-2, ISO 11452-4 standards and experience dealing with violations

• Understanding of embedded electronic circuits, especially MCU control protocols and register settings

• Understanding of switch mode power supply operation

• Strong English communication skills

• Japanese language skills are not required
