Job Responsibilities:​​​​​​

• Provide installation and service support at customer plants, assisting  business travelers with wire saw installation, commissioning, and after-sales service during and after the warranty period.

• Deliver operation and maintenance training to customers after completing on-the-job training with business travelers.

• Prepare and document procedures for wire saw installation and services, and share with service staff.

• Collaborate with service engineers to carry out installation services.

• Manage receiving, shipping, and inventory for customer plants, including confirming incoming/outgoing parts, managing inventory from office or Japan, and supporting shipment to offices or Japan.

• Handle parts receiving, shipping, and inventory management in Dallas.

• Conduct on-site service by visiting existing and new customers in cooperation with Novi and Alpena offices, including out-of-state business trips and consecutive visits over weekends.

• Engage in service sales activities through Plus One / JoiFUL initiatives by contacting customers independently or jointly with sales engineers, identifying requirements/problems, coordinating solutions with design engineers and Japan, and preparing estimates.

• Respond to customer service calls and emails by obtaining information from sales, designers, and experts; coordinate when necessary to provide accurate answers.

• Support fellow service members by assisting with customer visits, calls, and emails, while enhancing skills through field experience.

• Submit weekly reports as requested by management, prepare service reports and cost sheets for fieldwork, and share ongoing customer support information.

• Participate in service meetings and general meetings (weekly, Monday mornings).

Essential Qualifications:

• High School graduate or certificate. Wiring experience and /or sequence, ladder program knowledge (ex. Fanuc, Mitsubishi), also machine tool or similar equipment work experience preferable. 
• Excellent customer service, listening and verbal communication skills. Self starter as well as team builder.
• Ability to travel up to 70%, with some overnight travel. Flexibility to travel on short notice as well.
  *The ratio to job responsibilities varies, but depending on the load of service work, up to 70% may require on-site support.
• Job management skill. (Supervise sub-contractors and/or customer’s maintenance personnel.)
• Physical Requirements:  able to work at heights up to 6 ft , lift up to 50 lbs., kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders
