Position
[Part-Time] Japanese-Bilingual Retail Merchandiser (Honolulu Area)

Summary
A consumer goods trading company is seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in the Honolulu area. This role is focused on visiting our client stores to ensure our products are well-stocked, organized, and attractively displayed on the shelves. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable traveling to various retail locations. A valid driver’s license for client visits is required.

Essential Duties

• Visit multiple client store locations throughout the Honolulu area on a regular schedule.
• Restock products on shelves, ensuring items are neatly organized and well-presented.
• Maintain product displays according to company standards to maximize visibility and sales.
• Ensure the sales floor and our designated sections are clean and tidy.
• Build and maintain a positive, professional relationship with store staff.
• Communicate effectively with the sales team regarding stock levels or any in-store issues.

Working Hours, Working style

• ​​​​​​​Flexible part-time schedule, 3-4 days per week.
• Shifts will vary between half-days and full-days, scheduled within standard business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm), depending on daily needs.

Working Location
​​​​​​​On-Site, with daily travel to customer locations.

• Primarily servicing the Honolulu area

Salary/Benefit
$23-25/hour DOE

Qualifications

• ​​​​​​​Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or stocking is a plus, but not required.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for travel between client locations are required.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Professional and friendly demeanor with good communication skills.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese.
