Position
 Technical Interpreter (Japanese-English)

Summary
 Acts as an on-site interpreter and translator supporting Japanese expatriate engineers at a manufacturing facility. Provides accurate and nuanced interpretation during technical discussions and operations. Also responsible for translating technical documents, manuals, and internal materials.

Essential Duties

• Interpret between Japanese and English during technical meetings, equipment installations, and on-site interactions
• Translate technical documents, manuals, and internal reports
• Support communication between Japanese expatriates and local staff on the production floor
• Provide context-aware interpretation, especially in specialized technical terminology
• Assist in daily operational communication and written correspondence
• Bridge cultural and linguistic gaps to ensure smooth collaboration between teams
• Provide general administrative support, including document preparation and data entry

Working Hours, Working Style
Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00
Fully onsite at the manufacturing site

Centennial, CO

Salary/Benefit
$70,000–90,000/year (DOE)

Qualifications & Skills

• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
• Proven experience in interpretation and translation, preferably in a technical or manufacturing setting
• Ability to accurately interpret nuanced technical terms and concepts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in document translation
• Prior experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or engineering-related fields preferred
• Candidates with a hands-on attitude and strong support mindset welcomed
