Position
Account Executive

Summary
This position is responsible for managing specific sales accounts to contribute to the
growth of the business and increase profits.

Essential Duties
(1) Manages and Expands Customer Accounts:
by contacting designated customers regularly via telephone, e-mail, letters and in person to ascertain their needs and keep business and information flowing smoothly; by following up on past-due accounts to ensure that all collections are completed; by providing price quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers; by visiting customers to make presentations about products; and by
identifying customer needs or problems in a timely manner, and reporting all problems to the necessary parties.

(2) Coordinates Sales Operations:
by managing inventory control of assigned products; by determining sales plans and pricing strategies; by projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products related to specified accounts; by formulating and implementing targeted sales goals; by negotiating and closing all pricing proposals; by preparing sales reports for Management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis; and by coordinating all other aspects of sales operations.

(3) Increases Profits:
by analyzing sales trends and operating efficiency, product presentations, and best practices in order to maximize profit; by researching and identifying potential customers in specified industries; and by  developing proactive sales methods including end user customer presentations, phone sales, and new business opportunities at trade shows and industry events; and by reducing related logistics costs to use multiple forwarders and truckers

(4) Maintains Information:
by maintaining sales data; by entering sales and profit data per customer/product; by inputting new client company information in the database; by creating customer contact reports; and by documenting new project inquiries from new and current clients. 

(5) Performs Sales Support Functions:
by processing sales data and generating sales reports; by receiving, processing, and confirming orders; by creating purchase orders, letters of credit, and sales contracts; by documenting new project inquiries from new and current clients; by contacting customers in order to troubleshoot problems as they occur; and by performing any other sales support functions as necessary.

Working Hours, Working style
8 hours (including lunch time) between 8:00AM~6:00PM 
(Hybrid option available after 3 months / 2 days at office)

Qualifications
A. Language Skills
・Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, forms, and instructions in English.
・Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English.
・Ability to effectively respond to questions from Management, Staff, clients, and the general public in English.
・Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to individuals and groups in English.

B. Mathematical Skills
・Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
・Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

C. Reasoning Skills
・Ability to apply knowledge and sense of understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
・Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
・Ability to analyze and use various documents (contracts, purchase orders, etc.).

D. Computer Skills
・Ability to use a computer and such applications like Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and be able to create reports and presentation materials as necessary.

E. Other Skills
・Must be tactful, mature, flexible and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

F. Education/Experience:
・Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university; and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Requirement:
・The Staff Member is required to travel for business and may work beyond normal
business hours when necessary.

Physical Requirements:
・While performing the duties of this job, the Staff Member is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The Staff Member is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to pick up, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
・The Staff Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
・This position requires vision abilities such as close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
