Air Export Coordinator

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Air Export team. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day export operations, including preparing shipments, coordinating logistics, and communicating with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and compliant export processes.

Essential Duties

• Prepare export shipments, including labeling, documentation, customs clearance, and cargo distribution.

• Coordinate with trucking companies, airlines, steamship lines, and bonded facilities.

• Generate and issue freight bills and invoices; assist in tracking and collecting unpaid invoices.

• Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth shipment handling.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.

• Report and document any operational discrepancies.

• Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on workflow and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor or manager.

Salary / Benefit

• $45,000 – $60,000/year (commensurate with experience)

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent industry experience

• Some knowledge or experience in Air Export operations preferred

• Familiarity with international commerce (Incoterms, customs regulations, etc.) is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

• Must be able to work in an office setting and perform basic administrative tasks
