Sales Associate (Chinese bilingual or Spanish bilingual)

Summary
​​​​​​​The Bilingual Sales position (Chinese or Spanish) is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level or junior-level professional to join a dynamic and growing food trading company. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about customer service, sales, and the food industry, and who is fluent in both English and Chinese or English and Spanish. As a member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients while ensuring the successful promotion and distribution of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help achieve sales targets and drive business growth, particularly in the Latin American market.

​​​​​​​Essential Duties

• Visit customer and potential customer facilities to provide information and support in order to secure and maintain business
• Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with customers in the assigned territory
• Sell company products to all customers in the assigned territory
• Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable
• Evaluate territory performance and take appropriate actions to improve it (e.g., sales forecast, budget, new customer acquisition, gross margin, etc.)
• Anticipate customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to business challenges
• Deliver a high level of customer service to support business growth
• Communicate plans to merchandisers and effectively manage resources to support sales volume in the territory
• Share new product and service opportunities, information, or feedback from the field with management
• Assist the sales manager in setting sales objectives for the territory
• Provide timely reports on field activities to support business and product planning
• Submit sales activity reports and other required documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned, including attending physical inventory counts and company events

Working Hours, Working Style
9:00am-5:00pm
Monday to Friday standard working hours.

Salary/Benefit

• Salary: $43,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Chinese or Spanish (written and verbal communication)
• Familiarity with Japanese food
• Sales experience preferred
• Sales experience in the food industry highly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus, but not required
• Passion for the food industry and a willingness to learn
