Position
Control Valve Product Line Marketing Manager

Summary
The Control Valve Product Line Marketing Manager works with the marketing director to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for new product/market and sales unit expansion defining product strategy, understanding customer needs, prioritizing features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product launch and ongoing improvement.  
The role will be expected to create a variety of marketing materials and takes the lead on market research to strengthen our offering and to empower our sales team through support of building sales strategy with the business unit leaders.  
The role requires a natural ability to understand complex ideas or technical knowledge (Control Valves/Positioners/Instrumentation) and then be able to convey value on such matters and simplify that knowledge.  

Essential Duties

• Product marketing management and new product launch support for the company.
• Aligning Product and GTM Teams with Better Segmentation (Product->Sales/Marketing->Customer)
• Leveraging sales and marketing automation to maximize efficiency and engagement 
• Managing or providing support, localization, and priority of the development of brochures, data sheets, manuals, pricing, and sizing program support for assigned products and technologies 
  • our brand and capability awareness building 
  • SWOT, USP, and value mapping
  • Assisting with application notes, white papers
  • Web marketing (blog posts, videos, design win promotions, etc.)
  • Advertising (industry publications)
  • Social media, newsletters, e-mail blasts
• Provides marketing leadership with input to business unit leaders on market dynamics, growth opportunities, and threats to business growth – provide planning and input on budgeting
• Content development and collaboration with sales staff, channel partners, and customers
• Utilizes Salesforce.com, sales process creation, and marketing automation tools to track customer opportunities, marketing, and promotional efforts for assigned products
• If needed, interfaces with our Japan business groups (Operations, quality, marketing, engineering, etc.) for North American customer management activities on new products and technology releases
• Supports the training and transition of backfill and replacement of marketing and product development staff of current activities (handoff activities)
• Other duties as assigned 

Working Hours, Working style
Monday through Friday, hours determined by supervisor
・can be hybrid or flexible but operates mainly in a professional environment with access to a break room for breaks and lunch.

Qualifications
・Bachelor’s degree in business or similar course of study or equivalent experience
・6-10 years of professional industrial experience with valve/positioner/instrumentation experience preferred
・Working knowledge in MS office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
・New product release experience (preferred)
・Strong quantitative analytical ability
・CRM and Marketing Automation experience
・Familiarity with Google suite (marketing/website)
・Excellent written and oral communication skills
・Strong organizational skills
・Demonstrated capacity to communicate complex, large-scale concepts clearly and simply
・Comfortable leading initiatives in a fast-paced environment 
・Prior experience in consulting or a strategy related role 
・English fluency
・Understanding of Japanese is a plus 
・Occasional overnight travel is required with potential for some international travel
・Attendance at Semi-Annual Sales Meetings (April/October) is required
