Marketing Specialist – Industrial Robotics & Automation

Summary
A U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese precision machinery manufacturer is seeking a Marketing Specialist to strengthen its presence in the North American market. Specializing in compact desktop robotic systems for screw fastening and adhesive dispensing, the company serves a variety of high-precision industries such as electronics, automotive, aerospace, and medical devices. This role will play a critical part in driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement through digital marketing, promotional content creation, and coordination with the Japan HQ. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in B2B marketing, particularly in industrial or technology sectors, and is comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment.

Essential Duties

• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Google Ads, email)

• Manage and update company website content and SEO to improve visibility and engagement

• Create marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, product videos, and case studies

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted campaigns and support lead generation

• Monitor and analyze campaign metrics, report on KPIs, and adjust strategies accordingly

• Coordinate with the parent company in Japan to localize branding, messaging, and product launches

• Support trade show preparation, promotional campaigns, and PR activities in the U.S. market

• Conduct competitor and market trend analysis to inform marketing strategy

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors

• Strong skills in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, SEO tools, CMS, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Japanese proficiency is a plus

• Ability to create visually compelling marketing materials and write clear, engaging content

• Experience coordinating with cross-border teams or Japanese companies is highly desirable

• Knowledge of automation, robotics, or manufacturing industry is a strong plus
