Position
Corporate Controller

Summary

The Controller is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, while also supporting HR, general administrative tasks, and IT functions as needed. This role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and smooth business operations across multiple departments.

Essential Duties

• Manage all accounting functions including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory control

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with US GAAP

• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and audit requirements

• Oversee HR-related activities such as payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee record management

• Manage general administrative tasks including office management, vendor relations, and contract administration

• Support IT-related needs including system administration, user support, and coordination with external IT vendors as necessary

• Collaborate with various departments to align financial, HR, and operational strategies

• Supervise and develop accounting and administrative staff

• Communicate with international headquarters or corporate offices regarding financial and operational matters

Working Hours, Working style
8:30am-4:30pm
​​​​​​​ Flexible working hours – able to choose starting between 7am to 10:30am 
 3 days at office and 2 days remote

Salary/Benefit
73k-83k( $35/hr - $40/hr)

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance with exposure to HR and administrative functions
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
• AP/AR/Journal Entry experience
• Good Excel skiil
• ERP-related knowledge
• SAP knowledge is a big plus.
• ​​​​​​​Japanese-English bilingual required
