Summary
A Japanese manufacturer of electronic components is seeking an Accounting staff. 

Essential Duties
Accounts Payable

• Payment processing of office expenses
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Preparation of various reports
• Commission calculation and payment to Sales Reps

Accounts Receivable

• Issuance of order confirmations and invoices
• Collection and payment confirmation
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Preparation of various reports
• Rep commission calculation and payment

Tax Preparation (Federal/State)

• Preparation of CPA request documents
• Confirmation/coordination with CPA
• Aggregate sales by state

Closing

• End of month/quarter/year
• Preparation of Balance Sheet/Profit and Loss documents
• Consolidated package
• Preparation of documents to be submitted to Japan Accounting
• CPA's annual audit response
• Q/B System Backup
• Prepare cash flow statement

 

• EOY J-SOX audit

　　-Preparation for internal/external audits
　　-Obtain vouchers for various processes and send CPA

• EOY J-SOX audit

　　-Prepare and submit J-SOX audit materials 
　　-Prepare for internal/external audits

Qualifications
・Bilingual in Japanese and English (speaking, writing, and reading)
・3 years of relevant experience
・Experience in AP, AR, tax preparation, closing, and audit preparation
・Knowledge or experience in administrative support, HR, IT, or J-SOX
